Educational Outreach

The educational outreach program originated in 2001 as a collaborative effort between the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association (OSBA) and the local school districts.  The objective of the program is to provide an opportunity for secondary students to attend a live symphony or ballet performance at no cost with the hope that they will become future patrons of the arts.  From our experience we have seen that many teenagers and young adults do not have the opportunity to attend a live performance of the symphony or ballet.  The tickets provide a chance to expose these students to "new," exciting and interesting music.

OSBA has a fantastic offer for Family Fun this spring.  We have partnered with local non-profits and businesses to create a Family Fun Discount Card.

FatCats Ogden has generously sponsored the card and our partners include: Ogden Nature Center, Treehouse Children's Museum, Ogden's Union Station, Eccles Community Art Center, Weber County Library, & Kangaroo Zoo.

The card can be purchased from the Ogden Symphony Ballet Association for $10.00.  You will receive a Fun Pass from FatCats Ogden and be entered to win a $50 gift card or a free bowling party.  You can use the discount card at the above mentioned places and once you have completed three of the activities you return the discount card to OSBA for a FREE family pack, up to six tickets, to one of our family concerts.

Purchase tickets online, by calling (801) 399-9214 or at the OSBA Office at 638 E. 26th Street in Ogden.
